Feyn AI Releases SQRL, a Text-to-SQL Model Family That Inspects the Database Before Writing a Query

Feyn AI launched SQRL, a text-to-SQL model family that can inspect databases with read-only queries before generating SQL.

Its flagship model reportedly reaches 70.6% execution accuracy on BIRD Dev and is said to outperform Claude Opus 4.6 on the benchmark.

Feyn AI also released three open checkpoints on Hugging Face.

The approach could make text-to-SQL systems more reliable by reducing errors from schema ambiguity in real-world analytics.
