Project Glasswing unites Apple, Google, Anthropic to secure systems from AI threats

Project Glasswing is an initiative to confront cybersecurity threats driven by AI.

Participants include Anthropic, Apple, Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, AWS, JPMorganChase, Linux Foundation, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks.

Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview demonstrated the ability to uncover thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities in major operating systems and web browsers.

Anthropic committed up to $100 million in usage credits to support the effort.

The project aims to scan, test, and secure systems defensively as global cybercrime costs hundreds of billions and attacks on hospitals, infrastructure, and government systems rise.
