As World of Warcraft 12.0.5 hotfixes come thick and fast, Blizzard admits the patch "wasn't up to standard"

World of Warcraft patch 12.0.5 launched with major bugs affecting housing, bonus rolls, sockets, and class performance.

Blizzard said the update fell below its standards and began rolling out hotfixes, disabling or fixing broken features.

The company also promised refunds for impacted currency and said it will improve testing and communication.

Some of the issues had already been reported on the PTR, raising questions about the patch-testing process.
