Instagram’s teen crackdown moves from DMs to feeds

Meta is expanding Instagram’s teen supervision tools to show parents broad interest topics shaping a teen’s recommendations.

The new oversight covers content influencing Reels and Explore, with Feed support coming later.

The feature is now available globally in English, and future alerts are planned when teens add new interests in select markets.

Meta is also consolidating more family controls inside Family Center.
