WhatsApp Adds Meta AI Chats That Are Built to Be Fully Private

WhatsApp is adding Incognito Chat, a new AI mode that hides prompts and replies from Meta using Private Processing.

The feature is designed to preserve end-to-end encryption, with chats disappearing by default for added privacy.

WhatsApp also announced Side Chat with Meta AI, giving users private AI help inside existing conversations.

The move lets Meta offer more AI tools in WhatsApp while reducing how much user data it can see.
