Search Live rolling out globally as Google Translate’s live headphones mode comes to iPhone

Search Live launched in the US last September and is now launching globally alongside Gemini 3.1 Flash Live.

Gemini 3.1 Flash Live adds support for more than 90 languages.

Search Live enables back-and-forth conversations with Google Search, integrates with Google Lens to use the camera for real-world context, and can be launched from the button next to AI Mode at the top of the Google app.

Google Translate’s new headphones experience is now on iOS, and live translate with headphones supports over 70 languages.

Headphones live translate is rolling out to more countries including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Thailand, and the UK; open Google Translate on iOS with headphones paired and tap “Live translate” in the bottom-left to use it for conversations, listening to speeches or lectures, or watching TV/film.
