Spotify adds AI-powered Q&A and briefing generation features to podcasts

Spotify is rolling out AI-powered podcast tools, including personalized generated podcasts and briefings from prompts, files, and even email/calendar data.

The app also adds in-episode Q&A so listeners can ask questions directly about podcast content.

These features are launching first for Premium users in the U.S., Sweden, and Ireland, with Spotify positioning them as a new way to discover and interact with audio.

Spotify is also expanding creator monetization with sponsorship management and paid subscriptions, helping turn the platform into more of an AI-driven creator ecosystem.
