Arm moves beyond IP with AGI CPU silicon — 136-core data center chip targets AI infrastructure with Meta as lead partner

Arm announced the AGI CPU product line, arm announced the AGI CPU, a data center processor family it designed and will sell as finished silicon.

AGI CPU packs up to 136 Neoverse V3 cores at 300 watts, the AGI CPU family supports up to 136 Neoverse V3 cores across two dies and has a 300 W TDP.

Runs cores at up to 3.2 GHz all-core and 3.7 GHz boost, core frequencies are up to 3.2 GHz all-core and 3.7 GHz boost.

Supports 12-channel DDR5 at up to 8800 MT/s with over 800 GB/s aggregate bandwidth, memory support includes 12 DDR5 channels at up to 8800 MT/s, more than 800 GB/s aggregate bandwidth and a target sub-100ns latency.

Provides 96 PCIe Gen6 lanes and native CXL 3.0 support, i/O includes 96 PCIe Gen6 lanes and native CXL 3.0 support.
