Subnautica 2 enters early access on May 14, 2026, with a global unlock time and preload support.

It will launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, plus Xbox Series X|S, with day-one support on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The sequel emphasizes online co-op and broader Xbox ecosystem integration, including ROG Xbox Ally support.

PS5, Switch 2, and VR versions have not been announced for launch.
