Startup Majestic launches AI server “Prometheus,” with optional 8TB-128TB LPDDR6 memory - IT Home

Majestic Labs has unveiled Prometheus, an AI server that uses its own Ignite AI units instead of GPUs.

The system can be configured with up to 12 AIUs and 8TB to 128TB of LPDDR6 memory, plus liquid cooling and OCP support.

The company says a rack of Prometheus could deliver memory capacity comparable to many Nvidia NVL72 Vera Rubin racks while using less power.

Planned compatibility with PyTorch, vLLM, and OpenAI Triton positions it as a potential alternative for AI infrastructure.
