Windows PC "RTX Spark" running on NVIDIA debuts, enabling local execution of AI agents

Microsoft and NVIDIA announced Windows PCs built around NVIDIA RTX Spark, a new SoC for local AI workloads.

The thin, light developer devices are designed for on-device AI agents and demanding creative work without relying on the cloud.

RTX Spark combines strong AI performance, Blackwell RTX cores, Arm-based efficiency cores, and up to 128GB of unified memory.

Compatible PCs will roll out from fall 2026, starting with Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra and followed by other OEMs.

NVIDIA will also provide Windows runtime and development tools to expand support across major AI apps and frameworks.
