OpenAI adds personal wealth management features to ChatGPT, linking financial accounts

OpenAI is previewing a new ChatGPT personal finance feature for U.S. Pro subscribers.

The tool connects bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts via Plaid and displays categorized data in a dashboard.

Users can ask ChatGPT about budgets, cash flow, subscriptions, and portfolio risk, with advice powered by GPT-5.5.

OpenAI says access to sensitive account actions is restricted, and synced data will be deleted within 30 days after disconnection.
