1/100-scale model of wooden structure “KAJIMA TREE” using the “grand roof ring” unveiled for GREEN×EXPO

Kajima Construction unveiled a 1/100 model of KAJIMA TREE, a non-residential timber building planned for GREEN×EXPO 2027.

The design blends traditional Japanese architecture with advanced technology, including a seismic control system.

It also plans to reuse timber from the Osaka-Kansai Expo's Grand Ring, highlighting circular use of materials.

The project is drawing attention as a model for decarbonized urban architecture using recycled wood and advanced timber engineering.
