Staff at the Publisher Behind Some Beloved Star Wars and Cyberpunk Comics Are Unionizing

Dark Horse Comics employees have announced a push to unionize with the Communications Workers of America.

The group says 59 eligible workers signed a letter asking interim CEO Jay Komas to recognize the union by June 1.

If the company refuses, workers plan to file for an NLRB election.

The effort comes after layoffs, leadership changes, and concerns over workplace policies such as return-to-office, wage freezes, and AI.
