The author played Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen for over 130 hours and created a Kanto tier list.

They spent 43 hours hunting a shiny starter and tested multiple teams and every fully-evolved original 151 Pokemon against the Elite Four.

The tier list excludes Mew and Mewtwo and places Alakazam, Blastoise, Exeggutor, Jynx, Mr. Mime, Nidoking, Snorlax, Starmie, Venusaur, and Zapdos in S tier.

The list also presents an A tier with Pokemon like Arcanine, Articuno, Charizard, Dragonite, and others.
