US Is Taking Equity Stakes In IBM And Other Quantum Computing Companies

The Trump administration reportedly took about $2 billion in equity stakes across nine quantum computing firms.

IBM was the biggest beneficiary, with D-Wave Quantum, Atom Computing and PsiQuantum also among the recipients.

The White House is still seeking more proposals, suggesting the federal push into quantum computing is not finished.

The deals are drawing scrutiny because of reported ties to Donald Trump Jr. and a senior Pentagon official, raising conflict-of-interest concerns.
