Stripe has upgraded its Link wallet so AI agents can connect via OAuth and request user-approved payments.

Users can review and approve agent spend requests, reducing exposure of payment credentials.

Agents can make purchases using virtual cards or shared payment tokens, with broader payment support coming soon.

The update could make agent-based shopping and booking safer and easier to adopt.
