OpenAI adds new “Sites” feature to “Codex” for sharing sites, along with role plugins

OpenAI expanded Codex with a new Sites feature for creating and sharing interactive apps and workspaces via private URLs.

Sites is designed to make Codex more collaborative, letting users share app-like experiences and workspaces more easily.

OpenAI is also previewing role-specific plugins and annotations for business and enterprise customers.

The new tools target non-developers in areas like data analysis, design, sales, finance, and creative work, with ecosystem partners including Vercel, Wix, Replit, Figma, Webflow, Zapier, and others.
