Linux is developing a new NTFS driver for kernel 7.1

Linux kernel 7.1 is set to add a new optional NTFS driver with read and write support.

The driver is based on modernized older code and is designed for better stability and long-term maintainability.

The existing Paragon Software NTFS3 driver will remain for now, but the new driver could eventually replace it if validation continues to look good.

The change could make Windows NTFS drive support on Linux easier to maintain, test, and evolve over time.
