Google's Magic Pointer turns your cursor into an AI assistant, and you can test it now

Google unveiled Magic Pointer, an AI-powered cursor for its upcoming Googlebook devices, at the Android Show.

The cursor can understand what users point at and help with tasks like setting reminders or identifying objects.

Google also opened two demos in AI Studio, including Point and Speak and Show and Tell.

A related Ask Gemini cursor feature is set to arrive in Chrome soon, extending contextual AI help into the browser.
