'The Mandalorian and Grogu' Sneak Peeks Hit Theaters and Disney Plus on Star Wars Day

Disney marked Star Wars Day with IMAX fan events for The Mandalorian and Grogu, showing more than 25 minutes of footage and handing out posters.

Fans who couldn’t attend in person got a three-and-a-half-minute special look on Disney Plus.

The rollout helps build early buzz for Disney’s first Star Wars theatrical film in over six years.

The movie, starring Pedro Pascal and directed by Jon Favreau, is set for a May 22 release.
