Apple CarPlay Adds ChatGPT Voice Help, but Siri Stays in Charge

Apple CarPlay is adding ChatGPT voice assistance, Google Meet, and Audiomack support to expand AI, communication, and entertainment in the car.

These features are designed to complement, not replace, Siri and built-in navigation apps like Apple Maps and Google Maps.

Limits remain in place: no direct vehicle control, no video in Google Meet, and a smaller music catalog on Audiomack.

The update boosts CarPlay’s usefulness for drivers while keeping safety and core system controls as the priority.
