Windows 11 will be force-updated to version 25H2 using machine learning

Microsoft will automatically push Windows 11 25H2 to most Home and Pro PCs running 24H2 within the year.

Windows 11 24H2 reaches end of support on October 13, 2026, and 25H2 was released in October 2025.

The upgrade will use a machine learning–based system to download and install on eligible devices, excluding enterprise-managed PCs.

Users do not need to initiate the upgrade but can choose restart timing or postpone it for a limited time.
