Residents in Morgan County, Georgia, say their drinking water turned muddy after Meta built a nearby data center.

At a congressional hearing, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pressed the EPA on whether it was investigating the complaints.

The EPA said it would review the report, adding to scrutiny of data centers’ possible impacts on local water supplies and water quality.
