OpenAI introduced Codex-powered workspace agents in ChatGPT for teams.

The new shared agents are designed to handle complex, long-running tasks across organizations.

They are rolling out as a research preview for Business, Enterprise, Edu, and Teachers plans.

OpenAI also plans to let users convert existing Custom GPTs into workspace agents later.
