Automate Complex Tasks with Claude Code’s New JavaScript Workflows

Anthropic launched a new JavaScript-based workflow feature for Claude Code.

Users can define multi-agent tasks in code with parallel execution, loops, conditionals, retries, schemas, and direct sub-agent communication.

A new /workflows command manages these workflows and keeps history for pausing and resuming long-running jobs.

The goal is to make complex automation in Claude Code more scalable, reliable, and token-efficient.
