Google Pics Is Coming to Workspace — It Could Mean Competition for Canva

Google unveiled Google Pics at Google I/O, a new Workspace tool for photo editing, image generation, and graphic creation.

The feature is in testing now and is scheduled to roll out this summer.

It will be available to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers.

If integrated well, the Canva-like tool could make Workspace more central to everyday creative work.
