Tiger voluntarily recalls some electric kettles over lid defect that may cause excess hot water to leak when tipped over

Tiger Corporation has announced a voluntary recall and replacement for certain lid units of its PCS-A electric kettles due to a component defect inside the lid.

In affected PCS-A080 and PCS-A100 units, the shutoff mechanism may not work properly, causing hot water to leak beyond the standard amount if the kettle is knocked over.

The issue poses a burn risk, so owners should stop using the product and arrange an early replacement after checking the lot number and inspection seal.
