A Tease For A Nier Cosmic Horror Project On April Fools’ Day Is Making Fans Lose It

The official Japanese NieR Twitter account posted a teaser for a 'Cosmic Horror' project on April Fools' Day (Japan time).

The short teaser shows art of a robotic creature with a tendril-like head and a sketch of Emil in the background.

Square Enix had separately hinted at a new NieR project, and the franchise last had a major release with NieR Automata in 2017.
