SpaceXAI prepares Grok Build desktop app for release

xAI appears close to launching Grok Build, a desktop coding app that briefly surfaced on Grok web before being pulled.

Screenshots and early-access details point to a cross-platform tool for macOS, Linux, and Windows with coding, browser, file, plugin, and workflow features.

The app also appears to include agentic coding tools such as planning mode, connectors, MCP support, and Git tree navigation.

If launched soon, Grok Build would push xAI into the fast-growing AI coding market now led by products from Anthropic and OpenAI.
