Grounded after three flights, Blue Origin wants 100 New Glenns a year by 2029

Blue Origin says it wants to ramp New Glenn upper-stage production from 12 units a year to 60 by 2028 and 100 by 2029.

The plan includes a new Quattro upper stage with four engines, aiming to support a much higher launch cadence.

That ambition comes while New Glenn is still grounded after an April 2026 upper-stage failure on its third flight.

The FAA is investigating the malfunction, even as Blue Origin eyes commercial and government missions for the rocket.
