Intel reveals Project Firefly to make cheap Wildcat Lake laptops that rival MacBook Neo

Intel launched Project Firefly in China with Wildcat Lake chips to standardize low-cost laptop designs for PC makers.

The reference framework uses shared parts, smaller motherboards, and simpler layouts, with more than 70 laptop models expected in the first wave.

Entry-level pricing is cited around $449, and Intel claims up to 18.5 hours of battery life.
