Tokyo to provide 11,000 yen to children under 15 through "Childcare Support+"

Tokyo will give a one-time 11,000-yen payment to residents under 15 through its new Kosodate Oen Plus program.

The payment is meant to ease higher living costs and inflation for families with young children.

It covers children who are not eligible for Tokyo’s separate support program for those 15 and older.

Families already enrolled in the 018 Support child allowance will receive the payment automatically.
