Print with dozens of colors: Our new open-source ColorMix for EasyPrint and PrusaSlicer - Original Prusa 3D Printers

Prusa launched ColorMix, an MIT-licensed open-source color-mixing system for EasyPrint and PrusaSlicer.

It uses CMYKW-style filament blending and layer alternation to turn a small filament set into many visible tones on multi-material printers.

The workflow is supported by OpenPrintTag material data and a dedicated Prusament filament lineup for better previews and usability.

The goal is to make color 3D printing more practical and accessible without requiring a full palette of spools.
