Matsushita Memorial Hospital, operated by Panasonic Health Insurance Association, loses USB drive containing patient information; says no leak has been confirmed

Matsushita Memorial Hospital said it lost a USB drive inside the hospital that stored patient information.

The data included patient IDs, names, sex, age, and diagnoses; the drive was password-protected.

As of the 21st, the USB drive had not been found and no leak had been confirmed.

The hospital is continuing its investigation and reviewing information management measures.
