AWS marked the 20th anniversary of Amazon S3 and highlighted the service’s scale and long-term role in cloud storage.

AWS announced Amazon Route 53 Global Resolver is now generally available, extending DNS resolution and filtering for private hosted zones.

AWS introduced S3 account regional namespaces for general purpose buckets to improve naming governance and control across accounts.

Additional updates included stateful MCP support in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime, expanding AI tooling and runtime capabilities.
