Court grants Apple’s request to seek Samsung documents in DOJ antitrust case

A New Jersey federal court allowed Apple to seek Samsung records in South Korea for its DOJ antitrust defense.

The judge found good cause and approved using the Hague Convention process for foreign discovery.

The ruling gives Apple a path to potentially important evidence from a key rival abroad.

But any documents may still be delayed or limited by the South Korean legal process.
