Circana projected Nintendo’s Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream as April’s best-selling U.S. game across physical and estimated digital sales.

The game reportedly topped $41 million in combined spending and ranked ninth for 2026 year to date.

Nintendo’s Switch 2 was also projected to be April’s best-selling console, ahead of PS5.

The results point to strong U.S. demand for Nintendo’s late Switch-era release and continued Switch 2 momentum.
