New Tomb Raider Games Were Impacted By Amazon Cuts

Amazon’s 2025 pullback from game development has directly affected Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Tomb Raider: Catalyst, even though Amazon remains the publisher.

Embracer says its 2022 Tomb Raider TV-and-games partnership with Amazon is still active, but the collaboration has shifted behind the scenes.

Phil Rogers said Embracer is now working more closely with Amazon Luna leadership as part of the changed setup.

Embracer is also open to licensing more IP, including Deus Ex, Red Faction, and TimeSplitters, for new games, remakes, or adaptations.
