Google debuts Workspace Intelligence for Gemini Workspace

Google launched Workspace Intelligence at Cloud Next 2026, giving Gemini-powered agents a shared context layer across Workspace apps.

The system maps emails, chats, files, collaborators, and projects so AI can work with broader business context across Gmail, Chat, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.

New AI features roll out across Workspace, including content generation, analysis, and workflow support inside core productivity apps.

Google also added enterprise-grade admin, security, data-residency, and governance controls for organizations adopting AI copilots and agents.
