Apple Will Pay $250M to Settle Allegations It Misled iPhone Buyers About AI

Apple agreed to a $250 million settlement over claims it overstated AI features in iPhone 16 and some iPhone 15 models.

The lawsuits focused on Apple Intelligence and Enhanced Siri features that were advertised before they were fully available or were delayed.

Eligible U.S. buyers who purchased affected devices during the claim period may receive part of the payout fund.

Apple said it settled the case without admitting fault and continues to roll out new AI tools.
