New DBD patch notes finally take aim at its troublesome stacking modifiers

Behaviour Interactive has introduced a Diminishing Returns system in Dead by Daylight to weaken stacked gameplay modifiers and status effects.

Item addons are left at full strength, and the change is currently live on the PTB.

The patch also includes additional tuning for auras, progress bars, Killers, and addons.

The goal is to curb infinite stacking builds and reduce overpowered perk combinations that have long hurt balance.
