Miss Samsung Messages? This unofficial app brings it back, including RCS

Samsung Messages has stopped working for U.S. users, leaving Galaxy owners without Samsung’s familiar default texting app.

A new beta app, Messages by OzarksMade, aims to recreate the Samsung Messages experience with SMS, MMS, RCS, group chats, scheduled messages, and conversation categories.

The app is designed to look and feel like One UI, but it still needs Google Messages installed to enable RCS.

A public release is planned at a one-time price of $0.99, giving U.S. Galaxy users an alternative to Google Messages.
