Long-term storage for TV recordings in the cloud too: Digion's new service starts at 380 yen per month

DigiOn announced cloud support for its DiXiM Play TV viewing app and launched DiXiM U Cloud for saving and playing recorded programs.

Users can upload recordings to the cloud after taking them out, with support for titles, thumbnails, trimming, and playlists.

Pricing starts at ¥380 per month for a 100GB plan for DiXiM Play users, or ¥580 per month for a full package that includes the license.

The service offers a new long-term storage option for TV recordings, alongside Blu-ray Discs and NAS, with easier access on smartphones and TV devices.
