Garmin launches the ‘Forerunner 70’ watch for running beginners

Garmin Japan will launch three new Forerunner GPS running watches on May 28 for beginners and fun runners.

The lineup includes Forerunner 70, Forerunner 170, and Forerunner 170 Music, all featuring easy-to-read AMOLED displays and long battery life.

Higher-end models add features such as Suica payments and an altimeter, while the Music version supports music playback.

The new watches aim to make running easier to start and more enjoyable with lightweight design and training support.
