The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 price is finally revealed, and it's higher than we feared

AMD has priced the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 at $899, making it its most expensive AM5 gaming CPU.

The new flagship adds a second 3D V-Cache die to the Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

AMD says the extra cache is unlikely to boost gaming much, though it could help heavy multi-core workloads.

The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is scheduled to launch on April 22.
