Cute Little Sega Genesis Is The Most Affordable Lego Gaming Console Yet

Lego is launching a $40 Sega Genesis retro console set on June 1, 2026.

The 479-piece model includes two detachable controllers, a Sonic cartridge, and parts to customize it into a Sega Mega Drive version.

At $40, it becomes Lego’s cheapest console set yet, undercutting other licensed systems like the NES, Game Boy, Atari 2600, PlayStation, and Dreamcast.

The low price could help Lego’s video game console line reach more collectors and retro gaming fans.
