iRobot touts strong performance of "Roomba Mini"; 23% unit share, "The small Mini energized the industry"

iRobot Japan said its compact Roomba Mini has sold far better than expected since launch, including preorders.

In March, it captured over 23% share by units and more than 19% by value in Japan’s robot vacuum market.

The company said the strong debut also helped lift a category that had been sluggish overall.

The result highlights how products designed for Japan’s smaller living spaces can drive broader market growth.
