JAL Group enters lunar transport, partnering with ispace to pass on Earth’s culture to the next generation with "Möbius Ark"

JALUX and Japan Airlines have signed a payload transport deal with ispace for its 2028 lunar landing Mission 3.

They are launching the ARGO PROJECT to store cultural assets and products on the Moon.

The service will sell transport slots to companies and local governments, using the dedicated "Mebius no Hakobune" box aboard ispace's ULTRA lander.

The move could create a new private-sector space logistics market for lunar cargo delivery.
