OpenAI President on Apple Lawsuit: We Don't Need Your Secrets

OpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company is focused on its own innovation and long-term roadmap, not on competitors’ secrets, while avoiding details on Apple’s active trade secret lawsuit.

He suggested OpenAI’s first hardware products could arrive soon and said the company is developing a family of devices plus custom chips.

Brockman also said ChatGPT’s current app experience needs cleanup as more tools are merged into a single interface.

The comments underscore growing legal and competitive tension as OpenAI moves toward consumer hardware, including work tied to Jony Ive.
